Welcome to Lucinda's Restaurant
What do you get when you mix good old-fashioned home
cookin’ with a dream? The newest restaurant to hit the Ralston area, LuCinda’s.
Head chef and owner, Cinda
Hazuka, an Omaha native, spent her life catering to her family and doing odd jobs to make ends meet. Once her four children
were grown, Cinda followed her heart and decided to go to college at age 40. She meshed her natural instincts with her
newly learned skills to develop her passion for creating delectable meals that many would enjoy.
Upon graduating,
she began doing some catering out of her home on top of seeking employment at many food service facilities in the area. A
few years passed as Cinda's desire to have her own restaurant grew. In 2005, she was determined to make her dream a reality.
After
scouting many sites, she settled into a place formerly known as Marino’s and began chiseling away. With the help and
support of her husband and children, Cinda turned the vacant, lonely area into a warm and inviting masterpiece. The atmosphere,
coupled with food made from scratch and friendly service, has made LuCinda’s, 7920 Harrison, the perfect, quaint little
place for a relaxing and enjoying a home-cooked meal.
